You fly to Havana from Amsterdam. (If you leave from another country, that’s fine: we will pick you up in Havana). In Havana we will be waiting for you to take you by bus to the hotel. We’ll be staying in a three-star hotel, right in the middle of the old historic part of town. In the program we have four dance workshops. and one percussion workshop. We’ve organized it so that everyone finds what he or she is looking for.

The real salsa freak can take classes every day; the one that also wants to rest in the holiday will have time to go to the swimming pool or beach and the ones interested in culture or architecture will have enough time to get to know the city and it’s people. People that want to leave town. By bus, by car, by train… your guide will tell you where to go and how to get there.

Your guide will be in the hotel every morning to have breakfast together with the group. That’s the moment to ask her for information and help. But it’s also the moment for the guide to tell you what’s going on in Havana; where do the bands play, where are the parties? Next to that the guide will organise all sorts of atractive activities; Activities:     • To the beach Playas Del Este       (included in program)    • See an Afro-Cuban religious ceremony       in a Cuban home    • Have diner with a family    • An excursion to the green tabaco province of       Pinar del Rio (included in the program)    • Visits to cultural centres and salsa clubs       where you can dance with the Cubans    • A great goodbye party There’s plenty of posibilities but remember; nothing is obliged. You can choose if you join the activities; whether you wanty to party all the time or just want to have a relaxing holiday; both is OK. It all depends on you and on the group!

Do you want your independence? There are many possibilities to visit Havana by your own means. There is a lot to see and do; museums, the Capitol, the art- and book market, take the boat to the old defence walls or take a cab to one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world. Or just stroll along the old historic streets and enjoy the colonial architecture and the typical Cuban atmosphere.

Spanish lessons We have the option to take private Spanish classes. Very handy if you meet Cubans!! Whether it’s just a couple of phrases to be able to shop or whether it is to be able to have meaningful conversation…. The teacher speaks perfect English; she will adapt her program to your wishes.
