Maybe you are an independent person; you like your freedom and privacy and therefore you don’t like to travel in a group. Or maybe you do like a group but La Dynamica has planned their trip when you don’t have your holidays.

We know that, especially in Havana, it’s hard to find your way to the right places to dance and enjoy the Cuban culture. The Cubans don’t help a lot; they will send you to the most expensive night clubs and beaches because they don’t realise what it is we would like to do or see.

For those who want to go alone or with a partner to Cuba, but would like to profit from our knowledge, we offer our individual trips.

La Dynamica has a guide in Havana who will pick you up from the airport and will bring you to your hotel or private room. She will organize your dance-lessons and whatever other lessons or activities you would like to do..
She will show you around and will help you to find your way around. She will give you names of restaurants, tell you which beach is the nicest and how to get there.

But most important and unique for La Dynamica;
She will tell you where the music is and where you can go dancing and she will show you Cuban life. You will go to her home and that way you’ll be living amongst the Cubans and see Cuba in a total different way than the average tourist.
Of course she will also help if something goes wrong. It hardy ever happens, but imagine you get ill or loose your things; it’s a comfortable idea there’s someone you can ask for help.
As you can see; you go alone, but you’re not on your own.

Ticket

You can order a ticket Amsterdam – Havana with us. We fly with different airlines like Martin Air, Iberia and Air France. We work together with a well known travel agency in Holland and we can offer you economic rates.

Accommodation

There are several possibilities. We have selected nice addresses for you for different prices.

Hotel:
We work with a small hotel in the old centre of town ; Havana Vieja. It is a modest place, but clean and comfortable. The service is good and the people are nice. It has been completely renovated a couple of years ago. You have your own bathroom with hot water, airco TV and phone. It’s on walking distance from all the important sites in the centre
There is a swimming-pool close by.
Casa Particular:
More and more Cubans rent out apartments for tourists. This happens legal and illegal. La Dynamica only makes use of addresses, legalised by the state. That way we avoid you having to leave your house in the middle of your holidays.
We can offer you a room or an apartment.
The prices below are for an apartment with sleeping room, private bathroom with hot water and airco. A couple of apartments have a kitchen so you can make tea or coffee or even a meal.

You pay for the apartment, so with 2 persons it’s relatively cheap. But also on your own, it’s cheaper than a hotel. We also have apartments for more than 2 persons and we have apartments for different prices.Tell us your wishes and we’ll get you what you are looking for.

The addresses are in the area “Vedado”. This is a quiet part of town where you won’t be talked to as a tourist. Our guide lives in this area and you have close-by: shops, swimming pool, telephone and taxi’s.
By car you get to Havana Vieja very fast.
Salsa lessons
La Dynamica offers you private dancing lessons. A professional will teach you on your own level; you are a beginner? No problem, we start with the basic rhythm. You are an advanced salsa dancer? Tell us what you want to learn and we will adapt our lessons to you.

Salsa
We can offer different type of dances. Most of our clients come to Cuba for the salsa. The Cuban way of dancing salsa is called casino. It has characteristic turns that you will see the Cubans dancing around Cuba.
What we see as important is that you will also learn that Cuban ‘swing’. Therefore we will watch your body posture and movements of shoulders and hips.
Rumba, mambo and Afro
Next to the salsa there’s a lot more to do in Cuba. They dance the son, cha-cha-cha and mambo, but also the Cuban rumba, Guaguancó, is very nice and fun to do. It’s one of the popular styles of Cuban rumba with strong African roots and like the salsa, the rumba is the dance of the streets.
Are you interested in African dance? Cuba has a rich, cultural tradition of Afro-religious dances.
Reggaeton

The rage this very moment in the whole of Latin America is reggaeton;
a mix of latin and modern rhythms. You dance alone, moving hips, shoulders and everything else! This is our teacher Yusman together with Timo; a 9 year old boy who really enjoyed this dance while his mum was taking salsa clases.
Percussion lessons

It’s great to be able to play some of your favorite rhythm patterns of salsa music. We can offer you percussion lessons where you learn the basic rhythms on congas or other percussion instruments.
Spanish lessons

We have a new possibility for you; private lessons in Spanish.
Maybe you want to learn enough to be able to do your shopping or you want to have simple conversations with the Cubans? Or do you want to learn Spanish during a longer period of time?
Even if it’s just a few lessons or a full course; both is possible.
The teacher adapts her program to your wishes.
