La Dynamica is a small, but dynamic company.
The owner of La Dynamica is Myriam Hendrickx. She is well known in the salsa scene in Holland and teaches salsa at several dance schools. She is married to the Cuban singer Fabián Nodarse.
Myriam started La Dynamica because she decided to combine her two passions: salsa and travelling and she came up with an exciting holiday to Cuba where the roots of the salsa lie.
Myriam has found out that if you go independently to Cuba it's not easy to find the right places to go. To get to know the real Cuban dance culture it's not enough to only visit the expensive nightclubs. You have to go where the Cubans go.
Therefore we will take you to the famous nightclubs, but also to the small cultural centers, to street parties, to Cuban families and we will visit a religious ceremony where you can see how the Cubans call their spirits.
We will see traditional music and dance and we will get to know the exciting modern salsa, the timba, that is very popular with the young people.
La Dynamica offers you two possibilities :
We organize trips with a group of people but we also guide you on your way if you want to discover Havana by yourself.
The grouptrips are guided by a profesional guide who knows Havana inside out; this could be Myriam herself or one of La Dynamica’s experienced guides. The individual holidays are guided by our own Cuban guide who lives there and will show you around.
